On November 5, 2021, American rapper Travis Scott’s performance at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas, turned into a “mass tragedy,” with eight people killed and hundreds injured due to an uncontrollable crowd rush. Over 300 victims were treated at a nearby field hospital. 
 
The availability of ambulances at the event prevented the situation from becoming worse.
